Original map developed from various sources, containing village, parish and shire place names.  Many of these locations are referenced with John Cameron biography and the story of his forefathers.

Tealaggan, Drumcardine Concession, Kirkhill Parish, Inverness-shire - the family home from about 1841 until 1855.

The Kilmorack Falls site as it appears today.  This photograph is taken from the high ground, looking east, and shows the present hydroelectric dam in the foreground.

Kilmorack Parish.  The building is no longer used for church services, but appears much the same as it did when John was Christened here.  It presently serves as an art showroom.

Kirkhill Parish.  The building is still in service, and appears generally as it would have when John & Isabella Cameron were married here.  It is probable that they began attending a Free Presbyterian Church in 1843, closer to their home at Tealaggan.

Craigscorrie, Kilmorack Parish, as it appears today.  John Cameron was born on a farm here.
